Use your own API key in four steps
Already pay for an AI provider's API? Use it in SendGecko on Creator and up.
Heads up: a ChatGPT Plus or Gemini subscription isn't an API key. You need a key from the provider's developer console.
- 1Create an API key in your provider's console (links below).
- 2In SendGecko, open Settings → Gecko AI and paste it.
- 3We check it with a tiny request and store it encrypted. Only the last 4 characters are ever shown.
- 4Pick it in the composer. Calls go straight to your account, no credits used.
